Groenekan, The Netherlands, January 10th, 2017
FSC and MPS have entered into a definitive agreement for the delivery of an MPS B737-NG FTD Fixed Base Simulator to FSC at Amsterdam Airport.
The device will be equipped with a 200 x 40 FOV Collimated Visual System and delivered in March of this year, to be installed in FSC’s premises which is conveniently situated at one of the world’s best connected main airports: Amsterdam Airport. Part of the agreement is an option to convert the installed simulator into B737-MAX configuration in due time.
In addition to the acquisition of the simulator, FSC and MPS will continue to cooperate in the development and implementation of smart training solutions, which can ultimately become available to other MPS users.
FSC’s Managing Director Perry Roolvink “To further enhance the total value offering to our customers this first order for an FTD from MPS for the B737-NG marks the introduction at FSC of Fixed Base Simulator equipment to be operated in combination with our fleet of Full Motion Simulators. This provides great opportunities for our customers to practice their manual handling skills and systems knowledge in a realistic training environment. MPS sets new standards for quality and fidelity with their FTD’s and our B737-NG FTD will be used in a variety of training roles and in combination with our Full Motion Simulators, all according the high quality and safety standards of FSC.”
MPS’ President and founder Dick Verburg: “We are looking forward to partner with a highly regarded training center like FSC. In this set-up, we are able to clearly show the tremendous added value in training of offering an advanced Fixed Base Simulator from MPS in addition to the existing full motion simulators.”
