Copa Airlines Contracts MPS for B737 MAX FTD

MPS has been awarded a contract by Copa Airlines (NYSE: CPA) for a B737 MAX FTD FAA level 5 with collimated visual with the purchase option of one additional FTD. The simulator on order is expected to be installed Q4 of 2023 at Copa’s training center located in Panama City, Panama. This MPS FTD will be utilized by Copa for airline MAX training.

Copa’s current fleet includes 20 737MAX aircraft and plans to close 2023 with 32 in its fleet. The airline has placed emphasis on pilot training and education beyond the minimum requirements established by authorities to ensure the highest levels of safety.
