Facility Requirements & Readiness

MPS devices have a lower facility requirement than Full Flight Simulators, leading to the possibility of installation at locations where there is no simulator training center. This allows you to bring the training to the pilots, increasing your flexibility and lowering your cost of travel and increase pilot availability. MPS can provide you with a technical manual with the installation specifications or alternatively, we can schedule a visit of one of our engineers to support placement. Currently, MPS simulators are placed anywhere from office locations to simulator centers. Please note, the state of the facility where the simulator will be placed is an essential part of transportation preparations. Not only must the dimensions of the building space and entry points be sufficient, there may be power, isolation and other requirements. MPS will advise on the facility requirements and assist when required.

Transportation

After client acceptance in our factory, the simulator is ready to be transported to the client’s facilities. The simulator is dismantled into several parts and securely packaged for its trip. Depending on the destination, transport will be via ground transport and/or sea transport. Everything is arranged and supervised by MPS.

Installation

Installation at the client’s facilities is always performed by an MPS installation team. Installation of the MPS device is completed at your site in a timeframe of less than a week by MPS engineers and will be finalized with the acceptance by the customer. After installation, extensive testing will be done by the MPS team and local technical personnel will be instructed on how to handle and maintain the simulator.

After installation and testing is completed, the simulator will be ready for local certification.

Certification

MPS devices are built to the rigorous standards of EASA CS-FSTD. Through this standard, certification of the MPS devices has been achieved in a wide range of countries, and with a large variety of Regulatory Agencies. These include, but are not limited to EASA, FAA and CAAC. After installation of the MPS device at your training location, MPS will support your initial certification directly. In addition, any recertification can be supported as well.
